• Integrated ACE anti-corrosion elastomer strips avoid the accumulation of seawater between clamp body and pipe
Designed for use with stainless steel tube and pipe, Stauff’s Standard Series – Type ACT Clamps protect against crevice corrosion in salt water and other corrosive environments of underwater and topside applications such as in the fields of offshore oil and gas exploration and processing. Anti-corrosion elastomer strips firmly hold tube while eliminating gaps that seawater can penetrate. Integrated drainage channels promote free flow of seawater, eliminating stagnant pools that can lead to corrosion. ACT clamps reduce installation time and long term cost savings due to extended service intervals.
ACT clamps consist of one clamp body with two identical clamp halves, each with two integrated rubber strips made of Anti-Corrosion elastomer (ACE). The Stauff ACT clamp body design is available for the Standard Series (DIN 3015, Part 1) in the most commonly used imperial and metric pipe diameters from 1/4 inch to 1-1/2 inch (6 mm to 42 mm). The clamp bodies and hardware can be ordered individually or as an assembly.
Alternative configurations and pipe diameters are available on request. For clamp body specifications please click on the clamp body designs labeled Standard Series, Type ACT on the Rawson website.
